3 Easy DIY Face Masks

Hey cupcakes! I have never had the best skin throughout my life (sensitive skin, acne, etc.), and because of that I have never really gotten into face masks... However, I have started to try out some easy DIY face masks, so I wanted to share my 3 favorites with you all today :)

1. Honey Acne Mask - Honey actually is really good for your skin and preventing acne, and this mask does a really good job of clarifying your face. A lot of "acne" masks use lemon juice, vinegar, etc. which can really sting the skin, so this is a much gentler approach to clear skin. Plus, it smells really good!

What You Need
-2 tsps of honey (pure/organic honey is the best!)
-1 tsp of cinnamon
-1 tsp of nutmeg

What To Do
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
2. Apply all over face (or where you normally break out)
3. Leave on for at least 30 minutes (you can leave this on for hours if you want but be careful because it is sticky haha)
4. Rinse off with warm water

2. Charcoal Blackhead Mask - If you have pesky blackheads on your nose, this mask is for you! I tried out a friend's charcoal mask a couple of months ago and just had to DIY it again. :)

What You Need
-Charcoal pill (you can buy these by the vitamins)
-Elmer's glue

What To Do
1. Open up the charcoal pill and pour contents into bowl. Add glue until all the charcoal has been combined.
2. Apply to face (I suggest the nose!)
3. Wait until the mixture has fully dried.
4. Peel off!

3. Baking Soda Spot Treatment - While this isn't a "mask" per say, I still wanted to add this! If you get large hormonal zits like me, this really helps make them smaller, faster.
