What's On My LUSH Wishlist

Hey cupcakes! In my quest to start living more lower-waste, I had to evaluate my beauty routine. There are so many products in my stash that result in a bunch of plastic containers... Not really sustainable in the long term. When these products run out, I plan on switching them with other options. LUSH offers a bunch of great alternatives with either recycled containers, metal tins, or no packaging at all... That's right; there is more to LUSH than bath bombs! ;) Here is what I have been dying to try from their brand!

1. Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar ($10.95)

I think the idea of a shampoo bar is genius. While my hair tends to get a lot of build up on it, I really want to try a shampoo bar instead of my Tea Tree shampoo. To ensure it lasts as long as possible, you can purchase tins from LUSH (or other retailers).

2. Tea Tree Toner Tab ($1.95)

My skin has never been that great, so I have always wanted to try a toner tab from LUSH. I feel like it would be so refreshing for my skin, and the natural products would not irritate my sensitive skin. :)

3. Tooth Fairy Tooth Powder ($9.95)

Toothpaste is one of the products that is hard to find in a lower-waste way. I've seen some interesting products like this tooth powder, but I might have to just settle for an all-natural brand like Tom's From Maine.

4. Raspberry Milkshake Soap ($9.95)

If you use body wash, switch to bar soap! Such a more sustainable option (and honestly it looks so much nicer in the shower without annoying brightly colored plastic bottles!).

5. Eyes Right Mascara ($14.95)

Makeup has so many chemicals in it, which is super super scary. I have reduced my everyday makeup routine to only include mascara, concealer, and powder to try to minimize my exposure. But, LUSH offers a full face of makeup that is free from all bad things! So, I definitely want to try their mascara.

6. Emotional Brilliance Translucent Face Powder ($14.95)

Going along with the mascara, I would love to try out their powder to see if it makes my skin less irritated to other powders I have used in the past.

7. Aromaco Deodorant ($6.95)

Did you know that most deodorants contain aluminum in them (which is bad for you)? There are a bunch of natural/organic deodorants out there, but this aromaco bar sounds like a really fun adventure! :)

  1. Can you believe I've never actually been to a LUSH store? I was always turned off by the strong smell. The Body Shop was always my go-to for fun body products.
Their low packaging is really good though!

    1. Ooooo I love The Body Shop! I also was super turned off by the LUSH smell, but after going in a couple of times I have learned to love it! :) Thanks for stopping by!

  2. That raspberry soap sounds awesome! I've never actually bought anything from Lush before but I've been in the stores with friends and they LOVE the products so much.
