What You Need:
-1.5 cups milk
-1 to 1.5 cups of water
-8 oz. of macaroni noodles
-.5 tsp salt
-A dash of ground pepper
-4 oz. of shredded/grated sharp cheddar cheese
What To Do:
1. In a medium sized pot over medium heat, combine milk, 1 cup of the water, macaroni, salt and pepper.
2. Bring to a low simmer, stirring frequently (which prevents the milk from boiling over and making a mess).
3. Once it is simmering, reduce the heat to low. Stir continuously until the pasta is cooked to your liking (usually about 8-10 minutes). If the pasta needs more liquid, add the rest of the water in small increments while your noodles are cooking.
4. When the pasta is done and the sauce is creamy, remove the pot from heat.
5. Stir in the grated cheese a small bit at a time until everything is nice and gooey.
6. Add more salt and/pepper to taste. Enjoy! 🍽

This looks delicious! Mac and cheese is one of the foods I really miss eating since being diagnosed with a dairy allergy. But this recipe looks easily adaptable. :-)
